Zbigniew Latała was born, studied and lives in Krakow. He is a professor at the Cracow University of Technology, but he also lectured at the Universities of Toronto (Canada) and Indiana (USA).

He was awarded the title of doctor in the field of computer image processing and analysis. He conducts classes with graphic design, computer graphics, photography and multimedia. He is a laureate of many prestigious artistic competitions.

He has participated in 192 exhibitions in Poland and abroad and is a laureate of many local and foreign competitions (China, Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates). He has been a juror in many contests in the scope of graphic design and industrial design.

He worked as a graphic designer in Polish and Scandinavian publishing houses. He was awarded, among other things, with the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture “Gloria Artis” (2015)

He is the owner of the Pro3 Art Gallery in Kraków (Poland). Zbigniew Latała is a member of theAssociation of Polish Art Photographers and an honorary member of Les Arts Decoratives in Paris.
