POSTERISTS IN THE WORLD – INTERNATIONAL POSTER EXHIBITION COMPETITION

The Peruvian Design Association, in coordination with the Decentralized Unit of the Cuzco Region, announces International Call for the Exhibition Competition “Posterists in the World”

Cusco, the mythical capital of the Inca Empire, proudly preserves its walls and stone walls, which seem to be reborn every time one registers its centuries-old streets. The city has been chosen by the organizing committee to display the best posters in the world.

All posters received go into a selection process. The selected posters will be part of the exhibition. The selected posters enter the final section to choose the winning posters by category.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

All participants agree to comply with the following considerations:
a). The participants authorize the organization to produce, distribute and publicly communicate the images of the posters respecting the author’s rights.
b). If the work infringes plagiarism or intellectual property rights, the sender is responsible.
c). The call is international, of any age and nationality. The posters presented go through four selection processes in four instances. The bases require the participation of the best poster artists in the world that will be judged under strict compliance with the bases and biometric cards of our jury.
d). Selected posters and winners participate in the exhibition that will take place in the city of Cuzco, Peru, Latin America.
e). The selected posters enter the next phase to choose the winners by participation category.
f). Selected posters from all countries of the world will be officially certified by the organizing committee. The winners of each category will be awarded and officially certified by the presidential office of the Peruvian Design Association.
g) Any challenge planned or not in the bases will be resolved by the Organization in a definitive and unappealable manner. All rights reserved – Peruvian Design Association.

SPECIFICS GUIDELINES

a). Participation Category: “artistic”, “advertising”, “social”, “cultural”, “typographic”, “environmental”. The best posters by category will be awarded.
b). Maximum three posters per category. It is “not necessary” to participate in all categories. The challengers can decide in which categories of the posters to participate. All posters received enter a selection process by category.
c). Use a primary and active email for communications (Important). Before sending your files, sort them by category.
d). Consolidate the textual information of “each” poster: poster name
, category and description (Format: docx, doc, pdf,). Although some posters explicitly denote what it transmits, it is advisable to detail what you want to denote or transmit through each poster.
e) Attach poster images: 700 mm (horizontal) × 1000 mm (vertical), 300 DPI, RGB, JPG format. Compress with rar, zip to send. Each poster image must have its first and last name, followed by the name of its poster and country.
f). Verify that the “format” of the files to be sent complies with the requirements of the “form”.
g). Enter an active and primary email for the necessary communications and coordination. You will receive a confirmation email within a maximum period of 36 hours. Check your main email and also the junk mailbox, if possible, add our email to your address book (Importante)
